Central Fitness British Powerlifting Championships

Sports events are full of passion, excitement and emotion. I had a great time capturing this set of images for the qualifying rounds of the british powerlifting championships, there were photo opportunities everywhere. It's great action unfolding in front of you and covers the gamut in terms of human emotions. I particularly enjoyed using a mixture of black and white and spot colour keeping tones muted, using selected focus onto the subjects by getting in close with long lenses.
